I moonlighted as a comicbook artist in the 1990's, while working full time as art director at
Fantagraphics books, and later at the Comics Journal....I did most of these comics for the fun of
it, and they really helped me establish myself as a cartoonist. I don't really do them anymore, but
never say never! I stopped in 1997, in favor of a million other art and cartoon related projects.
My favorite comics are the undergrounds from the 1960's, and my comics reflect that.
